Ride It Sculpture Park Detroit MI - A Skatepark Success Story

Tony Hawk's The Skatepark Project has launched a fellowship program, which is training 15 skateboarding enthusiasts in community organizing and project management so they can build a skatepark in their neighbourhoods. Since 2002 The Skatepark Project has been fulfilling its mission to help young people by issuing grants to low-income communities building quality public skateparks and providing guidance to city officials, parents, and children through the process.
